I hate putting displays up and rely heavily on my classroom assistant to help me with the artistic side (thanks!) I always end up creating a computer banner for the top of my display which I don't like, but finding the time to cut out 20 or 30 letters just isn't possible. So I did a little research on the net and found Paperlets Limited. The company produce pre-cut letters and numbers. Each pack contains 1000 letters with higher multiples of the more commonly used letters than of Q's or Zs.
A pack of 1000 letters in a cursive or regular font currently costs £6.70 which I think is excellent value for money. They also have packs of 1000 numbers and mathematical symbols which again cost £6.70. All materials can be ordered online from their shop. A great find and a site I'll be visiting regularly!
If you are feeling particularly lazy then check out Teaching Trends. They sell everything you could need including complete laminated displays for only £30.00!
Ready Letters from Trend Enterprises ltd are also available at Teacher's Cupboard Upminster. Along with a wide selection of display sets and trimmers.
