First Day with HMI

Well first day down.  Was observed only once for Literacy and told that I had a Good lesson, which I'm pleased about.  Reason for not making an excellent lesson was due to the progress that the children made in the lesson - it was enough for a 'normal' school but not for one in special measures with low results!

Also had my interview as the Creative Team leader.  We now have 3 teams since the TLR structure was introduced, Primary Strategy, Creative Team and Humanities Team.  It's complicated stuff remembering which team you are on and when, but seems to be working well.  We've written are first team action plan! :)  This was interesting as I was allowed to lead the conversation.  Positive feedback so far so looks as though we are at least on the right track.

More details tomorrow.
